Raphael Mukomilow joins Picus Capital as Partner and Head of Growth
Munich, June 1, 2021 – Raphael Mukomilow joins Picus Capital as Partner and Head of Growth in their Munich office. Bringing extensive expertise from working with high-growth companies across a wide range of industries, Raphael now supports Picus Capital’s growth-stage portfolio companies in their journey of becoming global category leaders.
Prior to joining Picus, Raphael has led several investments, supported portfolio companies (such as BYGGFAKTA Group, Assistansbolaget, Logent, and Vision Ophthalmology Group) in their organic and inorganic growth ambitions as well as during private and public exit scenarios at Stirling Square Capital Partners. Before that, he worked at McKinsey & Company mainly focusing on sales & marketing as well as growth strategies across industries. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School as well as a Master’s degree from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
In his new role, he will work closely with Picus’ growth-stage portfolio companies on matters such as growth strategies, raising growth equity and debt financing, preparing for the public markets, and M&A opportunities.

München, 1. Juni 2021 – Raphael Mukomilow steigt als Partner und Head of Growth bei Picus Capital ein. Er bringt umfangreiche Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit wachstumsstarken Unternehmen in einer Vielzahl von Branchen mit. Mukomilow unterstützt ab sofort die Portfoliounternehmen von Picus Capital in deren Wachstumsphasen mit dem Ziel sie zu globalen Branchenführern zu entwickeln.
Vor seinem Einstieg bei Picus hat Raphael Mukomilow Investments für Stirling Square Capital Partners getätigt und die Portfoliounternehmen des Private-Equity-Unternehmens (unter anderem BYGGFAKTA Group, Assistansbolaget, Logent, und Vision Ophthalmology Group) beim organischen und anorganischen Wachstum sowie bei privaten und öffentlichen Exit-Szenarien unterstützt. Zuvor war er als Berater bei McKinsey & Company mit den Schwerpunkten Sales und Marketing sowie branchenübergreifende Wachstumsstrategien tätig. Er absolvierte ein MBA-Studium an der Harvard Business School und ein Masterstudium an der WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
In seiner neuen Rolle arbeitet Raphael eng mit den Growth-Stage-Portfoliounternehmen von Picus Capital zusammen, etwa in den Bereichen Wachstumsstrategie, Beschaffung von Eigen- und -Fremdkapital, Vorbereitung von Börsengängen oder Verkäufen, sowie M&A-Transaktionen.
